Spot gold traded around 4,164 per ounce in early Asian dealing on Tuesday, with gains limited by a firmer US dollar. Oil prices fell on Monday after Saudi Arabia made its largest recorded monthly cut to official selling prices since 2003 and crude exports through the Strait of Hormuz continued to recover. Brent closed at 71.95 and US crude at 68.60.
