ECB Governing Council member Joachim Nagel said there are currently no signs of second-round effects from inflation, reinforcing expectations of further rate cuts in the euro zone. Hashdex said on September 1, 2026 it added Hyperliquid ecosystem token HYPE to its Hashdex Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF, expanding the portfolio to nine crypto assets. OpenAI said ChatGPT’s in-product ads are now generating revenue at an annualized pace of $1 billion, a milestone it reached less than 200 days after launching the ad product. Tens of thousands of businesses are already advertising on the platform, and OpenAI has told investors it could scale ad revenue to $100 billion a year by 2030. ChatGPT’s share of consumer product research has climbed from 2% to 30% over two years.

Hyperliquid’s HYPE is seeing continued whale accumulation, with the address most recently buying about 14.14万 HYPE worth roughly $11.88 million. Coinbase said it has added two assets to its Layer-2 network Base: cbHYPE and cbZEC. cbZEC is a bridged version of privacy coin Zcash (ZEC), which has been a long-running token in crypto markets since 2016. The listings are intended to bridge HYPE and ZEC liquidity into the Base ecosystem and support multichain interoperability, letting users trade and use HYPE directly on Base. Base, launched in 2023, has grown into one of the most active Layer-2 networks by transaction volume as Coinbase works to broaden the network’s asset lineup.

BHP Group has declared an FY26 final dividend of 99 US cents per share (equivalent to A$1.38), up 65% from a year earlier and its highest in four years. The FY26 full-year dividend totals US$1.72 per share, up 56% and also the largest in four years. The final dividend implies a 72% payout ratio, while total cash returns announced for the year were US$8.7 bn, the highest since the capital allocation framework was introduced in 2016.
