Bitcoin and Ethereum derivatives see over $650 million liquidated in 24 hours

Crypto derivatives markets recorded about $657 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, impacting roughly 137,900 traders, according to ChainCatcher citing CoinGlass. Long positions made up the bulk at around $598 million, while shorts accounted for about $58.81 million. The biggest single wipeout was an ETHUSD position on Hyperliquid, liquidated for approximately $14.15 million.
