Cotton prices rebound on yield-drop fears and improving demand
Indian cotton prices rebounded by around ₹3,000–4,000 per candy last week to about ₹68,000, as slow new-crop arrivals and deficient rainfall stoked fears of yield losses. Farmers are holding back their crop in anticipation of higher prices, while the Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) raised its auction price for the 2025-26 crop by ₹500 per candy. Cumulative arrivals reached about 5 lakh bales in the first nine days of the 2026-27 season, with roughly 78,000 bales arriving on Monday. Prices have risen by ₹3,000 per candy over the past 10 days.

Strategy Buys 250 Bitcoin, Repurchases $192 Million of STRC as MSTR Shares Climb
Strategy acquired 250 Bitcoin for about $21.5 million at an average price of $86,194, lifting its holdings to 848,250 BTC. Its total Bitcoin cost is close to $64 billion. The company also repurchased $192.4 million of STRC preferred stock and disclosed $4.88 billion in USD reserves plus $640.5 million in additional cash. A further $354.8 million remains available for digital credit securities repurchases, alongside $1.0 billion authorized for MSTR common stock buybacks.
