Crypto prices firmed on Thursday after Wednesday's inflation data showed core pressures easing, with bitcoin up about 1.9% in 24 hours to roughly $62,600. Over the past seven days, BTC was down less than 1% while several large caps stayed lower, including ether down about 6.5% to around $1,651 and solana down 7.4% near $65. Traders are also looking ahead to the Fed's June 17 meeting, where markets expect no rate change.

CME Group began trading Nasdaq CME Crypto Index futures on June 9, introducing a regulated product designed to provide broad crypto exposure. The cash-settled contracts reference a Nasdaq-CME benchmark that includes eight assets such as bitcoin, ether, solana and XRP, allowing investors to hedge diversified positions without holding the tokens directly.

Raydium said it will cover losses after an attacker drained about $1.34 million from five deprecated liquidity pools tied to its legacy AMM V3 program that has been phased out since 2021. The team said current users and active pools were not impacted, and stated reimbursement will be paid from Raydium's treasury while it reviews mainnet programs for vulnerabilities.

Raydium said Wednesday that its retired AMM V3 program was exploited for $1.34 million on Solana. Raydium said the issue stemmed from insufficient validation of LP mints, while stating its current programs were not impacted.
