THORChain has launched native Zcash (ZEC) swaps following its 3.20 mainnet upgrade, enabling users to exchange ZEC directly for assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins without wrapped tokens or centralized custodians. The Zcash liquidity pool currently holds more than $50,000 and has begun processing live swaps, while remaining in a monitored soft-launch phase. The upgrade also introduced Protocol-Owned Liquidity, which redeploys 20% of liquidity fees into protocol-supported pools when conditions are met. With Zcash added, THORChain now supports 14 blockchains in its cross-chain liquidity network.
