Crypto ETF flows diverged last week. Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $6.21M, while Solana ETFs and XRP ETFs saw net inflows of $13.19M and $9.56M, respectively. Ethereum ETFs posted a $140M net outflow, the weakest performance among the assets tracked. Overall, major crypto asset ETFs drew fresh capital except for Ethereum.

Zetachain has put forward a governance proposal to shut down its Layer 1 network and migrate its native token, $ZETA, to the Solana ecosystem. At the time of reporting, community voting was heavily skewed toward approval, with 99.4% in favor. If passed, $ZETA would detach from its original chain and become an asset on Solana. The bulletin did not disclose a specific technical migration plan or timeline.

BlackRock made large-scale cryptocurrency purchases totaling more than $843 million over 20 days, spanning Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). The buying activity was reported by Czech crypto media outlet KRYPTOMAGAZIN.cz. The purchases underscore the world’s largest asset manager’s continued push into digital assets. The scale of the buying further reinforces BlackRock’s position as an institutional participant in the crypto market.

ZetaChain has proposed shutting down its Layer 1 blockchain and migrating the ZETA token to Solana as a native SPL token. The team said Solana’s speed, liquidity and AI agent infrastructure would allow it to focus on Anuma, a private multimodal AI app with 300K+ users. The proposal is subject to community discussion and a vote, and if approved ZetaChain would no longer operate a standalone chain while ZETA would run fully within the Solana ecosystem.

Solana recorded 5.2 BILLION non-vote on-chain transactions in August, marking an all-time high. The total was 19% above July’s previous record, excluding consensus voting traffic. Memecoin trading led the increase, with weekly spot volume reaching $5.2 BILLION, the highest since November 2025.

Data show XRP whale inflows to Binance have surged to a six-month high. About 1.6B XRP has been transferred to the exchange over the past 30 days, marking the largest such inflow since March. Large shifts of assets from on-chain wallets to exchanges are often viewed as a potential signal of intent to sell and could weigh on XRP’s short-term supply-demand balance.

South Korea’s NH Investment & Securities has committed $30M in convertible note financing to XRP treasury firm Evernote. The funds are set to be provided after the SPAC merger is completed. Proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes, including purchases of $XRP.
