Injective said it completed an accelerated network upgrade on August 31, though the rollout took longer than expected. The move followed an exploit that affected a limited number of ecosystem applications running binary options markets, while the Injective blockchain and INJ remained secure. On the same date, an Injective Institutional Services affiliate said it had been registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a transfer agent on August 19. The upgrade was aimed at strengthening network security and stability.

Uniswap’s UNI rose more than 12% on September 1 to $5.73, lifting its weekly gain to nearly 30% and putting its market capitalization at about $3.57 billion. The move was fueled by decentralized exchange trading on Robinhood Chain, where daily DEX volume reached $1.56 billion and Uniswap handled 76% of it. Attention has also turned to UNI’s burn mechanism, with more than $300,000 worth of UNI burned over the past 10 days and cumulative burns nearing $160 million. On September 1, about 1 billion XRP was unlocked from Ripple’s escrow accounts, with on-chain tracking showing three transactions of 500 million, 400 million and 100 million XRP. After the release, Ripple’s escrow balance fell from about 32.28 billion XRP to 31.28 billion. Based on the usual pattern, 600 million to 800 million XRP is expected to be re-locked, leaving roughly 200 million to 400 million XRP to enter circulation. XRP was priced at $1.38 at 13:00 UTC.

Robinhood Chain, a consumer blockchain backed by Robinhood, has generated $11.48 million in cumulative fee revenue in roughly two months since launch, according to Arbitrum. At the current pace, that run rate would equate to about $60 million on an annualized basis, pointing to strong early usage. Privacy-first on-chain trading platform Aster said it has launched Phase 1 of the USD1 RWA Boost campaign with World Liberty Financial (WLFI), offering rewards of 125,000,000 WLFI tokens and 6,250,000 USD1 stablecoins. The initiative is built on Aster Open Standards (AOS-2) extensions. Aster said the campaign is designed to increase participation in the RWA ecosystem.

Flare’s protocol revenue rebounded in the second half of August, with cumulative FIRE collections nearly doubling over the final two weeks of the month to about $29,400 as of September 1. FLR staking also climbed sharply, rising from roughly 11 billion tokens when FIP.16 was proposed in March to 20 billion by August 19—an 82% increase. KuCoin has integrated its Institutional InterestFree Lending Program with its Unified Trading Account (UTA) for eligible institutional clients. Under revised terms, newly registered API clients now need 10 million USDT in external 30day trading volume to qualify, down from 30 million USDT. The program offers 0% interest for the first two months with no volume requirement, and eligible clients can borrow up to 3 million USDT in assets including USDT, USDC, BTC and ETH.

The Graph Foundation announced a major organizational shift, moving from a coordinating and grant-making role to directly building, maintaining and scaling The Graph Network. The Graph, a blockchain data infrastructure protocol, has processed more than 1.27 trillion queries and supported over 75,000 projects. The expanded mandate marks a move into a more direct development phase aimed at accelerating network growth.

Goldman Sachs became the largest institutional holder of spot XRP exchange-traded funds in the second quarter of 2026, with holdings valued at about $87.45 million. The bank held roughly $154 million of the ETFs at the end of 2025, sold the entire position in the first quarter of 2026, and then reentered in Q2 by buying shares from multiple issuers. The reason for the Q1 exit was not disclosed in the firm’s 13F filing.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs returned to net inflows of about $216.7 million on Aug. 31, reversing roughly $201.9 million of net outflows on Aug. 28. BlackRock’s IBIT led the rebound with $205.9 million in single-day net inflows, accounting for about 95% of the total. Ether ETFs extended their streak to 11 straight sessions of net inflows with about $87.68 million added, while XRP and Solana funds also remained positive, though Solana’s daily inflow fell to about $925,000.
