Meta Platforms shares surged 11% to close at $741.25 on about 48 million shares, marking the stock’s biggest one-day gain since April 2025. The stock has risen more than 20% since Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent, launched on Sept. 8, with a free tier and $20 and $100 monthly plans. Wells Fargo raised its price target to $796 from $640, while Mizuho said the rollout is a meaningful step toward showing returns on AI spending. On the chart, the stock cleared resistance at $665 and weekly volume has been positive for the past four weeks.

AMD said its server CPU revenue rose more than 70% year over year in Q2 2026, helped by demand tied to agentic AI. Management expects server CPU revenue growth to exceed 80% year over year in H2 2026, and said it could raise that outlook in Q3.
