Thailand's SEC has issued 11 notifications establishing a regulatory framework for crypto ETFs effective Oct. 16, initially allowing bitcoin and ether. The rules require funds to maintain at least 80% average net exposure to a single underlying asset, supporting more straightforward single-asset ETF products. The move improves regulatory clarity and expands potential channels for local institutional and retail participation, which can bolster near-term demand sensitivity for major assets.
