Samsung said its stablecoin initiative will run on the Solana and Sui networks, not Ethereum. Samsung Wallet will add native USDC support for eligible U.S. Galaxy users starting in the last week of October 2026, covering about 82 million compatible devices. Users will be able to send USDC to compatible crypto wallets with no transfer fee on that route, or remit to bank accounts in more than 60 countries for conversion into local currency. The company said infrastructure and blockchain network support will come from partners “including Solana and Sui,” with custody handled by Coinbase Prime Vault and regulated stablecoin infrastructure provided by Bastion.
