BNB Chain plans to implement the Pasteur hardfork on Aug. 25, with changes aimed at strengthening cross-chain bridge security and expanding block capacity. The upgrade raises throughput from 1237 TPS to 2324 TPS, lifts average gas used from 46.35 million to 84.15 million, and introduces BEP-695 validator key rotation.
