Japan Nikkei 225 falls 3.95% to 62,364.92; South Korea KOSPI drops 10.84% to 6,023.63
Japan's Nikkei 225 closed down 2,566.27 points, or 3.95%, at 62,364.92 on July 28. South Korea's KOSPI ended down 732.12 points, or 10.84%, at 6,023.63 after falling more than 11% intraday below 6,000 and is nearly 30% lower for the month. SK Hynix fell over 14% and Samsung Electronics dropped more than 13%.
