Tesla to build Supercharger network in Hyderabad as it expands India charging corridors
Tesla opened its fifth Experience Center in India in Hyderabad on June 17, 2026, and said it will roll out its Supercharger network while starting local deliveries and aftersales operations. The company said it already operates five Supercharger stations with 20 connectors in India, and is planning charging corridors across major cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Tesla also showcased two new Model Y variants, with the 2026 Model Y Premium RearWheel Drive priced at ₹50.89 lakh. The move signals Tesla’s India push shifting from display-led activity to on-the-ground operations.
