Meta brings Jamnagar AI-ready data centre online as part of its global infrastructure fleet
Meta said its AI-ready data centre in Jamnagar, India, is now operational and will serve as a node in the company’s interconnected global infrastructure rather than a facility dedicated to a single region. The company said the site is designed to be flexible and scalable, supporting AI workloads across its ecosystem. Meta also said it has signed renewable energy agreements totaling nearly 1 GW with Indian clean-power providers CleanMax and Fourth Partner Energy. The company did not disclose capex for the project or any near-term financial impact.
