Mysk says Apple logs every tap and search in the App Store for recommendations

Security researchers at Mysk say Apple is recording every tap users make in the App Store, including typing speed, search terms and touch locations, to power personalized recommendations. They say users have no option to disable the tracking, raising questions about how the practice squares with Apple’s long-running “privacy is a fundamental human right” messaging. The feature is currently limited to U.S. users in English but is expected to expand to more regions.
