U.S. ETF inflows top $1 trillion in 2026; pace points to record $2 trillion year
BlockBeats, June 28 — The Kobeissi Letter said the U.S. is in the midst of an unprecedented ETF boom. Since the start of 2026, U.S.-listed ETFs have pulled in more than $1 trillion of net inflows. At the current run rate, annual inflows are projected to exceed $2 trillion by year-end, which would set a new record.
A $2 trillion-plus year would extend the streak of rising annual ETF funding to four straight years and would top the 2025 record by 33%, or about $500 billion.
Issuance is also accelerating. About 700 ETFs have launched so far this year, putting 2026 on track for a new annual high. June alone saw 186 ETF listings, the most ever for a single month. The ETF industry continues to expand at a record pace.
