UK Freezes £8.9M Penthouse, US Seeks $14B Bitcoin Forfeiture in Cambodian Scam

UK authorities froze Thet Li's £8.9 million London penthouse overlooking Buckingham Palace. The U.S. Treasury calls Li the de facto illicit finance CFO of Prince Group and has moved to forfeit about $14 billion in bitcoin tied to a Cambodian scam network, which denies wrongdoing. Freezing orders also cover watches and jewelry worth £10.6 million plus £92,570 in cash.
