PeckShield Reports 56 Crypto Attacks With $6.48B Losses in October 2026, Up 745%

PeckShield reported 56 major crypto cyberattacks in October 2026 with total losses of $6.48 billion, about 745% higher than September at $766 million. One incident accounted for roughly $6.3 billion, including $3 billion frozen, making it the largest crypto theft of the year. As of October 31, the top 10 attacks represented 92.3% of 2026 losses, which reached $8.6 billion.
