Ledger probes alleged fund losses tied to CryptoBilis reseller sales in Southeast Asia

Ledger said it is investigating reports that users in Southeast Asia lost funds after buying devices from reseller CryptoBilis. The company said it has asked CryptoBilis to suspend sales and shipments while the probe continues. Ledger urged customers who purchased devices from the reseller within the past 90 days not to set them up. Users who already configured the devices were advised to move assets to a new Ledger signer using a fresh seed. Onchain investigator Specter estimated more than $86 million has been drained from hundreds of wallets across Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron. Security researcher tanuki42 previously put losses at over $72 million, warning the total was still rising. bitcoin:native, ethereum:native, $TRON
