DTCC targets October launch for tokenized securities program; pilot draws nearly 40 firms including BlackRock, Vanguard, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs
DTCC is preparing to roll out a tokenized securities program in October, with an initial pilot expected to include nearly 40 participating firms such as BlackRock, Vanguard, JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, The Wall Street Journal reported. The trial will tokenize shares of Microsoft (MSFT) and Circle (CRCL), along with Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ), State Street's SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) and iShares 03 Month Treasury Bond ETF (SHV).
