Cypherpunk Technologies swings to Q2 2026 profit of $39.4M; ZEC holdings climb to 323,394

Cypherpunk Technologies (Nasdaq: CYPH) reported second-quarter 2026 results showing net income of $39.4 million, or about $0.18 in diluted EPS, reversing a net loss of $16.6 million a year earlier, according to PR Newswire. The shift to profit was largely attributed to a $46 million unrealized gain from the fair-value change in its ZEC holdings, after ZEC rose from $243.35 to $400.09 over the period. As of August 11, 2026, the company said its Zcash inventory totaled 323,394.38 ZEC at an average cost of $341.83, equal to roughly 1.92% of circulating ZEC supply and valued at about $129.4 million at current prices.
