BlackRock, SBI and Startale Sign MoU to Connect Tokenized Funds With Yen Stablecoin JPYSC

BlackRock Financial Management, BlackRock Japan, SBI Holdings and Startale Group signed a memorandum of understanding to explore linking tokenized money market funds with the yen stablecoin JPYSC. The partners will study technical infrastructure, business models, distribution channels and regulatory needs. BlackRock's BUIDL fund holds about 2.17 billion dollars, and JPYSC launched in June 2026.
