BitGo Moves $7.3B in WBTC Crosschain Transfers to Chainlink CCIP, Replacing LayerZero

BitGo said it will replace LayerZero with Chainlink CCIP as the exclusive crosschain service for $7.3 billion in WBTC. The firm said it will also use CCIP for future assets while keeping control of token contracts, rate limits, and transfer settings. The move follows a $292 million crosschain bridge exploit tied to Kelp.
