Binance Reopens Bitcoin Withdrawals After Covering 95% of $6.3B Hack Losses

Binance reopened withdrawals in phases on Sunday, starting with Bitcoin shortly after 1 AM ET, then Ethereum, BNB Chain, XRP, Solana and other networks. It said it replaced about 95% of the $6.3 billion stolen, covering roughly $6 billion through SAFU, its Futures Insurance Fund and treasury. Users will not bear losses. The FBI tied the theft to North Korea\u0027s TraderTraitor unit.
