Aptos Switches On Encrypted Mempool on Mainnet to Shield Trades From MEV Bots

Aptos activated Encrypted Mempool on mainnet today, letting users opt in to keep transaction details hidden until a block is final. Sender and fee stay visible, and no single validator can decrypt a pending transaction alone. The feature cuts the risk of MEV bots spotting an order and trading ahead of it. Petra wallet already supports it and perps exchange Decibel plans to follow.
