USDD has launched an Ethereum-based USDD Vault that lets users mint the stablecoin using ETH and WBTC as collateral. The vault sets a minimum collateral ratio of 130% and a stability fee of 4%, operating via an on-chain CDP mechanism without intermediaries. The setup offers ETH and WBTC holders a way to unlock liquidity while maintaining exposure, and deploy minted USDD across more DeFi use cases to expand USDD’s multi-chain ecosystem and user reach.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has declared Evernorth’s Form S-4 registration statement effective, clearing a key step toward a Nasdaq listing under the ticker “XRPN.” Shareholders are scheduled to vote on Sept. 30. If approved, Evernorth would become a publicly traded XRP treasury company backed by Ripple, SBI Group, Pantera, Kraken, Arrington Capital and GSR. Raincards infrastructure is suspected of being involved in an attack that drained funds from multiple neobanks and their users. The exploiter bridged $1M USDC from Solana to Ethereum via deBridge and laundered the funds using TornadoCash. The post said Circle had more than two hours to freeze the funds but did not act, and urged users to withdraw funds from impacted neobanks as soon as possible.

On-chain data show the attacker created a wallet at 13:40 UTC and bridged in $190 of USDC from Ethereum to cover gas. Draining began at 16:49 UTC and has continued, with 8,857 transactions executed by submitting a signature bundle, calling AddCollateralAdmin to gain admin privileges, and then withdrawing. The data indicate a verification flaw in which the second signature check pointed back to instruction 0, and the protocol’s upgrade key has not been used since March 2025.
