Telix Pharmaceuticals shares jump over 5% after FDA approves Pixclara glioma imaging agent

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Telix Pharmaceuticals shares rose after the FDA approved Pixclara, an amino-acid PET imaging agent for glioma, removing a key regulatory overhang and enabling US commercialization. RBC cites a US$140–160m annual addressable market for the current indication and highlights potential upside from broader penetration and future label expansion (e.g., brain metastases). The approval also supports confidence in Telix's pipeline execution following a prior Complete Response Letter.

Telix Pharmaceuticals said its brain tumour imaging agent Pixclara has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, sending the stock up more than 5% on Monday. RBC estimates the U.S. annual market opportunity for the product’s current indication at US$140 million to US$160 million. The broker values the indication at $0.56 to $0.62 per share under different penetration assumptions, citing about 24,000 newly diagnosed glioma cases each year in the United States.
