What Is Zilliqa (ZIL) and How Does It Work?

Zilliqa (ZIL) is a public Layer 1 blockchain that began as a high-throughput smart-contract platform and is now positioning its infrastructure around pre-settlement credential checks for institutional finance. What Is Zilliqa Tokenomics?

Zilliqa has a fixed maximum supply of 21 billion ZIL. Public market data listed approximately 20.09 billion ZIL as circulating and approximately 20.53 billion ZIL as total supply on 2026-07-30.
