Reddit shares surged more than 12% in after-hours trading after S&P Dow Jones Indices said the company will be added to the S&P 500 before the open on Aug. 18. The move is expected to lift Reddit’s visibility with institutional investors and forces index-tracking funds to buy the stock. In Q2 FY26, revenue rose 61% year over year to $804.9 million and EPS climbed 178% to $1.25, while daily active uniques increased 18% to 130.3 million. The stock is down 31.2% year-to-date, and analysts’ average price target of $218.32 implies 38.1% upside.
