S&P Dow Jones Indices said Nike (NKE) will be removed from the S&P 100 in the index’s Sept. 21 quarterly rebalancing, ending an 18-year run. Nike shares are down 39% this year, pushing its market capitalization below $57 billion and leaving it short of the blue-chip sub-index’s inclusion threshold.
