Materials Shares Slide as Gold Futures Drop $150.80 to $4135.40 an Ounce

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Gold sold off sharply as a stronger USD pressured bullion, driving a broad pullback in materials equities. The move signals tighter financial conditions and reduced near-term demand for non-yielding assets. Separately, M&A uncertainty in the gold-mining complex rose after Northern Star rejected Gold Fields' bid while remaining under activist pressure, potentially increasing stock-specific volatility across major producers.
