Franklin Templeton's XRP ETF Tops $500M in Net Inflows, Second Spot Fund to Reach the Mark

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Franklin Templeton’s spot XRP ETF (XRPZ) surpassing $500M cumulative net inflows highlights sustained institutional demand for regulated XRP exposure despite recent price weakness. A $22.65M one-day inflow across U.S. spot XRP ETFs—dominated by Bitwise’s product—signals improved near-term risk appetite and liquidity in XRP-linked vehicles. Rising September volumes and rebounding aggregate inflows support tighter spreads and stronger underlying market participation.

Franklin Templeton's spot XRP ETF, XRPZ, has become the second spot XRP fund to surpass $500 million in cumulative net inflows. The milestone followed a strong day for U.S.-listed spot XRP ETFs on Sept. 25, when the five funds collectively drew $22.65 million—their largest single-day inflow in the past month. Only two products accounted for the entire intake: the Bitwise XRP ETF (XRP) brought in $18.39 million, representing 81% of the day's total, while Franklin's XRPZ added $4.26 million. While smaller than Bitwise's haul, Franklin's inflow was enough to lift XRPZ's cumulative net inflows from $496.7 million to $500.99 million as of press time, marking the fund's first move above the $500 million threshold since launching in late November 2025—roughly ten months ago. XRPZ's 2026 momentum has been notable. By the end of 2025, the fund had accumulated $242.58 million in net inflows, implying more than $258 million of additional capital has arrived so far this year despite XRP's ongoing price weakness. September alone has contributed $38.13 million. Improving sentiment following XRP's price rebound since August has helped renew demand for regulated XRP exposure. With $38.13 million in net inflows, September is now XRPZ's third-strongest month, trailing January ($59.83 million) and May ($41.82 million). Trading activity has also hit new highs. XRPZ has recorded $217.9 million in trading volume so far this month, surpassing its prior record of $176.44 million set in December 2025. Across the category, the Sept. 25 inflow lifted combined cumulative net inflows for all five spot XRP ETFs to $1.79 billion. The total has continued to climb after dropping to $1.39 billion on Sept. 17. With XRPZ now at $500.99 million, Franklin has widened its lead over Canary Capital's XRP ETF (XRPC), which ranks third at $489.37 million. XRPC launched as the first pure spot XRP ETF in the U.S. and benefited early from a first-mover advantage, but Bitwise and Franklin have overtaken it this year. Bitwise remains the category leader with $676.29 million in cumulative net inflows. Canary's fund has struggled to attract fresh capital in September. It has not posted a single day of inflows since Sept. 1, when it took in $3 million, and has otherwise recorded flat flows aside from a $1.37 million outflow on Sept. 17. XRPC would need roughly $10.6 million in additional inflows to become the third spot XRP ETF to cross the $500 million cumulative net inflow milestone.
