Asian shares slide after Fed chair Warsh flags possible September rate hike; Kospi drops more than 3%

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Asian equities sold off after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole remarks reinforced expectations for a possible September rate hike, tightening global financial conditions and pressuring rate-sensitive tech. Weakness spilled into US index futures, with Nasdaq 100 futures underperforming amid a semiconductor-led decline and higher front-end Treasury yields. Separately, renewed West Asia tensions lifted oil prices, adding an inflation tail-risk that could further constrain risk appetite.
