U.S. wheat futures end mixed as winter wheat harvest reaches 25%

U.S. winter wheat harvest reached 25%, well ahead of the 13% five-year average, while spring wheat emergence and heading also ran ahead of normal. Weekly wheat export shipments totaled 334,292 MT, down 14.01% from the same week a year earlier, and early 2026/27 marketing-year exports over the first 11 days were 6.1% below last year’s pace, according to USDA FGIS data. Algeria issued a tender for wheat imports with offers due Wednesday. CBOT and KCBT wheat futures closed higher, while MIAX wheat finished lower, leaving the wheat complex mixed overall.
