USDA: U.S. corn export inspections fall to 1.64 million tons in week ended June 11, soybeans rise

U.S. soybean export inspections totaled 522,687 metric tons in the week ended June 11, up from 412,122 tons the prior week and 225,571 tons a year earlier, USDA data show. Corn inspections were 1.64 million tons, down from 2.01 million tons the previous week and below 1.7 million tons a year ago. Wheat inspections came in at 334,292 tons, higher than the prior week but lower than the same period last year. In morning trading, CBOT futures were up 0.4% for soybeans and 0.7% for both wheat and corn.
