TSX posts 0.2% weekly dip as gold miners slide on 1.2% drop in bullion

Toronto stocks edged down 0.2% for the week, led by a 2.1% drop in the materials sector after gold fell 1.2%. Alamos Gold sank 18.4% after cutting its second-quarter production forecast. Capstone Copper fell 4.1% after it flagged groundwater impacts at its Mantos Blancos mine in northern Chile.
