Rogers Sugar pitched as a TSX dividend play to turn $14,000 into $731.16 a year in passive income
Rogers Sugar (TSX:RSI) reported quarterly Adjusted EBITDA of $38.3 million, up 10% year over year, while adjusted EPS rose 15% to $0.14, beating Bay Street expectations. The company held its quarterly dividend at $0.09 per share, implying an annualized yield of 5.2%, as trailing 12-month free cash flow increased to $92.5 million. Its Montreal LEAP expansion, budgeted at $280 million to $300 million, is progressing on time and is slated to enter service in the first half of 2027. The project is expected to add about 100,000 metric tonnes of annual production capacity.
