Soybean futures slide, July contract drops 9 3/4 cents to $11.22 1/4 per bushel

U.S. soybean futures fell across the board on Thursday, with the benchmark July contract down 9 3/4 cents at $11.22 1/4 per bushel. The cmdtyView national average cash soybean price slipped 9 cents to $10.70 per bushel. Soymeal and soybean oil futures also posted sharp losses. Export sales for the week totaled 424,869 MT of old-crop soybeans, a 12-week high but still 11.71% below the same week last year, while traders pared positions ahead of the Juneteenth holiday.
