Navitas to ship first U.S.-made Gen 5 GaNFast wafers in September via GlobalFoundries 200mm Vermont line

Navitas Semiconductor said it will ship its first U.S.-made fifth-generation GaNFast wafers in September through GlobalFoundries’ 200mm gallium-nitride-on-silicon facility in Burlington, Vermont. The company is targeting high-end power markets including data centers, industrial systems and defense. The move marks Navitas’ first step toward a U.S.-based gallium nitride supply chain for its GaNFast platform.
