Namada exploit drains about $600,000, deepening security concerns across Cosmos-linked chains

Privacy blockchain Namada said an exploit cost it roughly $600,000, draining nearly all value from its multi-asset shielded pool and adding to a series of security failures across the Cosmos ecosystem this year. Namada confirmed the breach on June 20 in a post on X, saying its team was investigating the issue and coordinating with relevant parties. The project also asked the attacker to return the funds and invited any white-hat hacker involved to contact the team.
