Strategy Buys 250 Bitcoin for $22 Million, Marking Fourth Straight Week of Accumulation

Strategy said it acquired 250 Bitcoin over the past week at an average price of $86,194, its fourth consecutive week of purchases. The roughly $22 million buy lifted total holdings to 848,250 BTC, after the company added 2,949 Bitcoin for $248 million in the prior three weeks. Strategy also repurchased $192 million of STRC, its perpetual preferred stock that pays 12% annual dividends, carries a par value of about $100 and trades at $99.89. The firm has disclosed since 2020 that it may buy or sell BTC to manage capital.
