ENS DAO weighs June 19 ‘temp check’ to shift operations and treasury oversight to ENS Foundation
The Ethereum Name Service DAO published a “temp check” proposal on June 19 to restructure how the organization operates. Authored by katherine.eth and posted to the ENS governance forum, the proposal argues the current setup pushes token voters into operational decisions they are not positioned to make. It would keep protocol-level control with tokenholders while moving day-to-day management—including registration revenue, treasury management, grants, and working-group coordination—to the ENS Foundation.
