MSCI gives SpaceX 3.2/10 governance score and 1/10 controversy score with an orange flag after IPO surge
MSCI assigned SpaceX a 3.2 out of 10 governance score and a 1 out of 10 controversies score, marking it with an “orange flag” that points to elevated ESG risks tied to shareholder rights, board independence and insider control. The assessment followed SpaceX’s IPO debut, after the stock rose more than 19% on its first trading day before sliding for two straight sessions, including a 3.56% drop in regular trading and a further 1.84% decline overnight last Thursday. Benzinga Edge Rankings also showed SPCX posting a weak price trend across short-, medium- and long-term horizons, according to Benzinga Edge.
