Oil slides 5.1% to $76.64 a barrel; John Wiley shares fall more than 6% after Q4 results

International crude oil futures slid 5.1% to $76.64 a barrel, the steepest decline among major commodities in the session. Gold, silver and copper posted modest gains but did not offset the sharp weakness in oil. U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Dow up 0.84% while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 fell 0.71% and 0.28%. John Wiley shares dropped more than 6% after fourth-quarter results showed EPS slightly above expectations but revenue below forecasts.
