Binance APAC head SB Seker says regulation, liquidity and real-world utility will drive crypto in 2026

Binance Asia-Pacific chief SB Seker said crypto’s outlook for 2026 will hinge on regulation, liquidity and a shift from speculation toward real-world utility. He said the next leg of growth is likely to be driven less by meme-led trading and more by infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenization and institutional participation. The remarks come as Binance faces uncertainty in Europe after Reuters reported its MiCA licence bid could be rejected ahead of the end-of-June deadline.
