Asia Pacific governments rank Sovereign AI as No. 2 investment priority as 46.1% assess the technology

A study commissioned by Dell Technologies and NVIDIA and conducted by IDC shows Asia Pacific governments have elevated Sovereign AI to their second-highest investment priority. It found 46.1% are evaluating the technology and 36.1% are running initial proofs of concept. The survey also shows 99% of government leaders view agentic AI as an accelerator, but scaling is constrained by skills gaps, trust and infrastructure readiness.
