Andy Burnham to host Zelensky at UK naval base as Britain hands over Stone Cloak jammer IP

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is due to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a British naval base, where Britain will formally transfer the intellectual property behind the “Stone Cloak” electronic jammer to support Ukrainian mass production to counter Russian drone tracking. The move is framed as an upgrade to routine military-technology cooperation within the UK’s £25bn support package for Ukraine. At the same time, the UK and the US are coordinating efforts to reopen shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, which has been effectively closed by Iran since US and Israeli strikes on February 28, disrupting a route that carries 20% of global oil and gas shipments.
