India says no Indian-flagged ship has left the Persian Gulf since LNG carrier Disha crossed Hormuz on June 15
India’s shipping ministry said no other Indian-flagged vessel has exited the Persian Gulf since the Malta-flagged LNG carrier Disha safely transited the Strait of Hormuz on June 15. The vessel is carrying 62,370 metric tonnes of LNG and is expected to berth at Dahej, Gujarat. The government said it is coordinating across ministries to support the safe return of ships, energy cargoes and seafarers, including through a control room that has handled more than 13,187 calls. Port operations across India remain normal with no congestion reported.
