BHP shares jump 51.7% year on year as FY 2026 dividends rise to $2.419 a share

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
BHP's FY26 results highlight a structural pivot: copper overtook iron ore as the primary earnings driver, with copper EBITDA up 48% YoY and spot prices materially higher in H2. The narrative reinforces copper demand tied to electrification and data centres alongside supply-deficit risk. While the equity has rallied sharply and is framed as a "hold", the data point is incrementally supportive for near-term copper sentiment.
