Telstra slides 3.2% to $4.84, pulling ASX 200 down 0.23% as miners take profits
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Australian equities slipped as Telstra's results were viewed as underwhelming following a recent outage, pushing the telecom sector sharply lower and weighing on the ASX 200. Materials also detracted as major miners saw profit-taking after a strong rebound, while tech provided partial offset. The AUD weakened modestly, reinforcing a risk-off tone in local markets amid earnings-driven dispersion.
